Our mission is to provide opportunities for people of all ages to discover and enjoy Lake Superior's beautiful shoreline in an eco-friendly manner.
Dog-Paddle Kayaks is a small start-up business with a fleet of 9 kayaks and two canoes opening in June of 2008. This green business was created to encourage participation in silent sports in the Chequamegon Bay area. We rent boats from May to October each year. Chequamegon Bay is a shallow, protected bay that provides a safe environment for beginning paddlers. Each kayak is rented with a PFD, paddle, safety whistle, and brief instruction. These kayaks are meant to be paddled near shore and are not designed for travel over large expanses of open water.
